Many of our customers, for various reasons, choose to participate in our Annual Maintenance and Support Plan (AMSP). When you originally license our software, you are automatically enrolled in the AMSP for one year, and you may "opt-out" of the plan when you receive your annual AMSP invoice.
The AMSP entitles you to:
regular access to product patches and minor releases
access to our Support Hotline for question and issue resolution
(optional) on-demand downloads of our current KnowledgeBase
free-of-charge transfers of your licenses between servers or operating systems
significant discount (up to 75%) on major product releases
discounts on User Conference attendance fees
Price for an AMSP contract is set at 18% of the current license charges for the suites and user counts you currently license.
Without a maintenance agreement, the risk that your systems may not have the latest patches or security updates greatly increases. So does the risk that an audit will discover flaws in the network that could have easily been addressed with regular software updates – something that could be done with relative ease if you had a maintenance program.
