The following is a brief list of some of our customers who either utilize the MXP system extensively, or who have created unique enhancements, additions or flavors of MXP in their environments.  We would be glad for you to speak with any of these organizations; please let us know so that we can make these arrangements.

Medallion Cabinetry

Medallion Cabinetry, headquartered in Waconia, MN has been using the MXP system for over 15 years.  As part of the Elkay group of companies, Medallion's continued stability and profitability has given it a primary position in Elkay's Cabinet Division.  Due to this position, Elkay has recently commissioned Medallion (and Foresight) to consolidate all of its divisional companies on the MXP/Decade platform.  This effort began over a year ago with upgrading Medallion's internal implementation from an older character-based version of MXP to the Decade version, and we are currently working with management and IT resources at Elkay and the companies involved in converting data and operations from other systems to a consolidated database and interface.  We were (frankly) elated when it became known that one of the companies we will be moving to Decade is a current SAP client.

Graphical Warehousing (click for larger image)Medallion will be the first implementor of Decade's new Product Configurator module, an enhancement to the Engineering, Order Processing and Shop Floor modules that allow complete "build-to-order" capabilities within MXP, as well as our new (in beta) Graphical Warehousing module, allowing drag-and drop movement of inventory and shipments within and between warehouses and trucks.

PTR Baler and Compactor

treo.jpg (44785 bytes)PTR manufactures, distributes, and -most importantly- services a line of compactor and baler equipment, used primarily by retail outlets all over the United States.  With a widely distributed network of Service personnel, PTR's challenge has been ensuring that those technicians always know where to go next, what they will be facing, and what materials they will need for service and repair work.  MXP's rich Service Suite has helped provide this information, and maximize the performance and profitability of PTR's technicians.  Additionally, working with partners Profit Programming and Solvepoint, PTR developed a Palm Treo based interface to the Service suite that allows technicians instant access to required data, as well as constant feedback as to their location and status:

Johnson & Johnson Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (OCD)

jandj1.png (232277 bytes)OCD is a $1.5 Billion medical device and diagnostic company headquartered in Rochester, NY.  With over 4000 installed equipment units in the US, over 130 field engineers, and taking 44,000 service orders per year - in addition to being subject to stringent FDA regulations - OCD is certainly one of Foresight's most rigorous customers.  In fact, our Help Desk module was under initial development when J&J approached us about becoming a customer, and HD was designed from the ground up to meet (and exceed) their requirements.  Since joining the customer base, OCD has also taken steps to extend their MXP system outside the walls of headquarters, and now offers their technicians both a "Blackberry interface" and a web-browser interface into the Service and Inventory modules.

Enersul LP

dive.jpg (93579 bytes)Enersul has been for years a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of sulphur handling equipment.  With a complex engineering component, and highly specialized purchasing requirements, plus sales on several continents in many currencies, Enersul is a prime example of taking MXP to its most sophisticated levels.  At Foresight, we also credit Enersul finance and IT staff with creating the DIVE module, an electronic storage area for your Financial Statements, with drill-down capabilities.

Southeastern Telecom

schbd.PNG (27123 bytes)SeTel is one of the largest and most experienced communications equipment distributors in the southern United States, and was one of the earliest implementors of the Decade-level MXP platform.  During the implementation, SeTel requested the development of a graphical technician scheduling system to replace their Service Managers' "whiteboard solutions".  The result of this collaborative effort was our (now standard) Schedule Board function.

Sinclair Dental

sinclair.jpg (132624 bytes)Sinclair Dental is one of the largest distributors of dental products and equipments in Canada, and has been an MXP user for many years.  When Sinclair decided to expand its sales to the web, they chose our partners Chassels Computing in Vancouver and BravePoint here in Atlanta to implement the MXP-complementary web front-end, ErpXtend.  Now, Sinclair customers can shop through the catalog of over 15,000 products online, order securely, and check the status of every order placed.
